That it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission. Well....they obviously haven't talked to me. :) I'm not type of dominant that expects her submissives to ask her permission for everything (I figure they can handle the big ones like breathing, eating, sleeping...on their own)....for instance, if I'm deeply enmeshed in a conversation, and you have to run to the ladies room....I'd rather you went, instead of either A. Having a nonconsentual golden shower scene, or B. Interrupting my conversation. However, if you *are* going to ask my permission for something, asking it -after- the fact is pretty damn ridiculous. Either ask me when you want permission for things, or don't....but don't play the fucking game of ...'ooops, I just made a mistake....did Mistress notice.....oh shit! She did.' To be honest, I don't believe I'm really that demanding of a person, and there's not much I will deny someone. Unless what you want to do interferes with *my* time with you, or it is something that I just personally disagree with, chances are that my answer will be yes, when you request my permission....unless I'm in a playful mood and just don't feel like saying yes....for example, not letting you get dressed, or when I want to have you 'beg' or 'convince' me to give you what you want. Sometimes a little discomfort & humiliation can be entertaining....for me anyway. If what you're asking for is something important to you, but also something that you think I might say no to....well, use your intelligence....plan your argument well....give me an intelligent, well reasoned & well thought out position on why you want to do whatever it is you're asking me permission for. I might be moved enough by your passion that I'll say yes.
