I have lots & lots to say about my job....but it's too damn late to write the novel. Condensed version now, more tomorrow night. Boss is on vacation. CEO has been asking questions about a lot of things and giving me special assignments. I've given very blunt & honest answers....and followed up by pointing out discrepancies between what CEO says that she wants for the Company & what my boss has said that the CEO wants. If I can gut it out another 6-12 months, my job may change from being HR/payroll to being HRIS & payroll....which is higher on the food chain...more IT oriented, less people oriented and it could possibly lead to being some sort of Supervisor or Manager.....or if nothing else, I learn enough to not look stupid & then jump ship. Base pay for an HRIS clerk is $48K.....which is about 10K more than I make now.
