10 Years of Collecting....GONE

I'm hoping any of you can help me out. My 40 GB hard drive died on me today. This hard drive contained over 15 thousand images.....most of them from either Pro-Wrestling sites or adult sites from the Internet....a collection I've spent 10 years amassing. Recovery is....impractical. I did a lot of mass downloads from the Internet, thousands at a time...and then I'd go through and delete the unwanted stuff....well amongst the drek is *sure* to be illegal kiddie porn (Russian/European) that randomly ends up in the groups I get pictures from. Since I'd rather *not* get arrested for having illegal images (that I didn't want in the 1st place).... data recovery by a professional isn't an option. That's not really the worst of it.... The bad part is that I've lost all my personal photos. Any photos I've had of myself, of my friends, of Folsom, Gay Pride, Baycon, private parties......they are *gone*. I'm hoping that over the years, I've sent you all copies of these personal pictures.....and if you'd be willing to send me copies of them.....or if it's more than say...15 pics, maybe you'd consider putting them on a disk for me?? If you can do either, that would be great!! You'd have my eternal appreciation. :) If you send me pictures, please send them to heathrc@pacbell.net I can get more images via email to that address. Yahoo only lets you get 3 at a time.
