Avoiding Drama

A while ago, this woman started emailing me on CollarMe. We swapped IM's, and I pinged her one day (this being maybe 2 days after our last email). She said she didn't remember me, so I sent her the link to my CollarMe profile. Not a peep out of her after that. Ok, whatever. So...a few weeks later, she emails me again on CollarMe. I told her that I wasn't sure I wanted to pursue anything with her, since she was so rude to me on IM. She claims to not even remember what happened. Ok...well, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt & talk to her a little more. So, we had been IMing for a day or 2...and she tells me that she has a girlfriend. Valia: So how does your girlfriend feel about you playing with other people? XX: i haven't had that conversation yet. i am hoping she sees it as me meeting my needs Valia: oh..ok. Well I'll be upfront...if she's NOT ok with it...I'm not. XX: I know. i am being totally honest with you. Valia: I appreciate that. I just don't like the idea of going behind people. So yesterday I came home to the below. SIDE NOTE - I told her several times I was only on IM after 6PM...and she still kept messaging me & got a little upset when I didn't reply. XX: hey, i don't mind dropping the whole play idea. doesn't seen like We're connecting like that which is fine. i'm still open to chat tho. So when I got home the rest of the conversation went as noted. Valia: As far as an 'us' thing goes...I'm not investing too much of myself until AFTER you've squared things away with your girlfriend. XX: yeah, and i'm not having that conversation w her until i find someone i would like to pursue. see if There's a connection, like interests, desire to play and take it from there I wished her luck & signed off. So is it me, or does her method seem a little backwards?
