I GOT PROMOTED & A RAISE & NOW REPORT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have a lot of details yet, because the whole thing is still being worked out. 1. Whatever is happening will be "effective" 10/31. 2. 1st I'm getting my normal annual review, which has the potential of a 2.00% to 4.50% raise. Once that happens, then my salary for my new position will be an additional 4.00% on top of the salary from my review. 3. I will now be reporting to the CEO & only the CEO. 4. I will still be doing most of what I do now with HR, benefits & payroll. They will be hiring a clerk/receptionist to take my place up front, as well as a HR Manager. What HR duties I have beyond Payroll & benefits will be determined once we hire & train these 2 people. 5. I will be the lead for keeping track of all of the documentation for our new lending division, Participation Loans. Basically, these are multi-million dollar business loans that we go into with other credit unions. Apparently these loans generate a huge amount of paperwork & the Auditors just love it when something is missing, wrong, or out of place. In the future I might actually start working on these loans as some sort of loan officer. 6. When (not if) my current boss, the VP of HR retires, I will be getting her office.
