I have to remember that in the long run, no matter how much I may care about someone...I need to care about myself more. Giving too much of myself isn't going to help either of us in the long run. In the past, I would sometimes slip into a state where I give & give...and it just seems to be expected that I keep on giving, no matter what,...and if I pipe up & let it be known that I'm running low & could stand to have some giving tossed my way...the other person seems to be less than thrilled.
